Looking for ways to improve your performance and audition skills, or just curious about what it takes to get on stage? RCF’s Adult Acting Class is ideal for actors of all experience levels and can be a great introduction for first-timers, as well as a way for seasoned actors to brush up on their skills. In this class, we work on making compelling choices, exploring exciting intentions and tactics, learning to incorporate your full body into your acting, and learning to let go of “safe” acting. Want to spice up your performance? This is the place!
Mon 4:30-5:30pm; September 16-November 25
$100 for 10 lessons (ages 6-9)

Do you have a little superstar-in-the-making at home? Enroll them in this class, and they will learn elements of storytelling and developing characters, build confidence in speaking in front of groups, how to use their voices more effectively, and how to work as a team to create a performance. This class ends with a performance showcase for family and friends.

This class offers an opportunity for older actors as an outlet to overcome fear of public speaking, or to learn and practice acting skills or to just try something new. We will be reading monologues and doing scene work--all with NO MEMORIZING!

Getting involved in a school theatre program can be daunting. This class is designed for your young students to learn the fundamentals of the theatre world in a low-pressure, high-reward environment. Students enrolled in this class will learn the basics of reading a script and creating characters, how to move and speak on the stage, confidence building, teamwork and a whole lot of fun. This class ends with a showcase performance for family and friends.

Has your student taken RCF classes in the past, or performed in shows at their school or other theatres? If so, this class might be right for them. Our Advanced class builds on ideas of character development, script analysis, physical acting, improvisation and accents, and many other acting skills. This class ends with a performance showcase for family and friends.

$200 for 10 lessons (ages 14-18)

This class is designed for students who intend to pursue theatre into their college and adult years. With an eye for building competitive skills that will help them “get the job” in the future, this class offers a unique challenge for the serious thespian, while offering a fun social outlet for more casual actors. This class ends with a performance showcase for family and friends.

While improv can be developed as a unique stage technique, the basic elements are used throughout the actor’s journey. Learn how to identify when and how to take improv skills into the everyday audition, rehearsal and performance phases of the acting experience to create more compelling and deliberate choices on stage.
