The Red Curtain Arts Center is excited to announce the "Friendsgiving Dragstravaganza" Saturday November 23rd at 8pm. This all-ages drag show will serve up heaping platefulls of delicious lip sync performances, original live songs, fabulous costumes and wigs, and just a pinch of sass, all hosted by local drag celeb queer icon, Gina Touche.
Celebrate Friendsgiving with Red Curtain and the Touche family, featuring Pam Jobb N. Moore! The pie is the limit with Gina Touche, and it's all about that baste when it comes to her state of the art drag family. The Touches are the gift that keeps on Thanks-giving, so don't miss this family friendly drag phenomenon!
The show starts Saturday, November 23rd at 8:00pm. The bar will open at 7:00 with themed cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be served for whatever floats your gravy boat. Tickets are $22 for adults, and $17 for seniors/students/military.
This November, the Back Porch Lite Blues Band will be performing a benefit concert, "Winterlude," at the Red Curtain Arts Center in Marysville on Saturday November 30 at 7:00pm.
Back Porch Lite is a band of local musicians who have spent 20 years off & on bringing blues & rock hits as well as original tunes to Western Washington. Grab a libation, sit back, & let those toes tap! This concert marks their first reunion since the pandemic. Led by lead singer Britta Grass, the band includes Brion Fetts on keyboards, Ed Kallaway on drums, Jeff Glenn on guitar, and Rick Butler on bass.
The band will be joined by audience favorite Michael G. McFadden. A lifetime musician, comedian and actor, Michael has enjoyed his time on stages throughout the county.
"Winterlude" will be a blending of classic blues and rock 'n' roll, with some holiday favorites sprinkled throughout, inspired by Bonnie Raitt, BB King and Delbert McClinton.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors and students, and $15 for children 12 and under.
This play is suitable for most audiences.
Moriarty is dead, to begin with. And Sherlock Holmes is a haunted man. But, when a grown-up Tiny Tim asks Holmes to investigate the death of Ebenezer Scrooge, the Great Detective must use his gifts to solve a Dickens of a Christmas mystery! Six actors take on the beloved characters of Arthur Conan Doyle and Charles Dickens in this heartwarming and highly theatrical holiday treat for all ages!
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm, December 6-22.
Saturday, December 7th 8pm performance will be ASL-interpreted!
