Looking for a theatre project for the summer that won’t eat up too much of the precious sunny days? We’ve got you covered—presenting Red Curtain's 1st Annual 48-Hour PlayFest!
The 48-Hour PlayFest runs Friday, July 11, through Sunday, July 13, and is sure to be a chaotically good time! Participants will gather at the Red Curtain Arts Center (9315 State Ave #J, Marysville) on Friday at 7pm for the kickoff celebration where teams will be formed and guidelines for the event will be distributed.
Teams will begin work on their 10-minute plays immediately, working overnight and all day Saturday (sleeping Friday night at RCF is recommended but not required) to write, rehearse and polish their original short play, to be performed Saturday and Sunday, with a wrap party Sunday evening.
