The Funny Pages Lineup

Phil Burton

Phil is a comedian and writer based in Seattle. He was a semifinalist in the 2024 Seattle International Comedy Competition and a featured comedian at the Wet City Comedy Festival. Some names he has opened for include: David Gborie, Ian Lara, Dina Hashem, Lucas Zelnick, Aaron Chen, and Zainab Johnson. He was one of the Strangers 2025 Undisputable Champions of Comedy and is a regular guest on KUOW’s Casual Friday podcast. He was recently featured on King 5's New Day Northwest.

Kate Carlson Carlsen

Kate Carlson Carlsen is a stay home mom, and has been performing stand-up comedy as a host, feature and headliner as well producing comedy shows throughout the northwest for over 9 years. Her fun story-telling style about her life and raising a big unconventional family will surely leave you laughing!

Joe Gomez

Nesil Izil

Joe Gomez is the Problematic Chicano. As a cultural guardian and socio-political agitator, he uses his unfiltered perspective to defend his culture, call out hypocrisy, and find humor in the absurdities of modern life. This isn't a comedy for everyone. You've been warned.

Nesil Izil

Nesil Izil

Nesil Izil got her start after attending a program that some of the greatest comedians in history went through: Drug Rehab. Nesil’s Detox nurses agreed she was “hilarious” and “definitely smoking cigarettes in the bathroom but we can’t prove it”. After getting clean and sober, Nesil later moved to New York where she started her Comedy career working for Funny Hunnyz LLC. Since then, Nesil has been in the Seattle International Comedy Competition, Bumbershoot, and has also preformed with Comedy greats like Franqi French(NBC), Joe List(Comedy Central), Adam Conover (Netflix), Nimesh Patel(SNL), and Janeane Garofalo, who told Nesil she liked her name.

Narin Vann

Narin Vann is a nationally touring comedian whose sharp, observational humor has landed him on TV in both the U.S. and Canada, and featured in newspapers across Washington state. His jokes have hit the front pages of Reddit, The Chive, The Berry, and Ebaumsworld.

Narin’s comedy draws from the chaos of friends, family, and pop culture—no one is safe. By day, he's an insurance agent. During wedding season he is an Emcee/Officiant at weddings

He's the host of the Roastbusters podcast, with fans tuning in from across the country, and the creator of Roastamania, a monthly roast battle show. If you love your comedy mean, smart, and relentless—Narin Vann delivers.
