While this class explores a variety of aspects of acting, the focus this session will be on breaking away from "face acting" and learning to engage the whole body in your acting, finding new forms of expression, along with digging deep into the text to find meanings that raise stakes and feed conflict. Some out of class work is expected during this class. Open to students aged 16 and up.

Have you ever wanted to get professional coaching on singing songs from your favorite musicals? Want to brush up on your skills for an audition? Or do you just want to hang out and sing show tunes? Whether it's classics from Rodgers & Hammerstein, or groundbreaking modern musicals, students in this class will learn techniques to elevate their vocal performance skills while having loads of fun. The class will end with a recital. Ages 12 and up.
Tuesdays, 4:45-6:15 p.m. - Beginning Jan. 23

In this class, students will learn how to dig deeper and find new ways to express themselves on stage through scene work. The class will focus on topics like stage presence, character development, intentions, power, tactics, and stakes. Open to students 12-16 years old; no drama experience necessary.
Wednesdays, 4:30-5:30 p.m. - Beginning Jan. 24
Instructor: Kelly McClain • Cost: $90 for 6-week session
Come join the fun and build confidence in acting, body movement, and public speaking. This 6-week class will teach students the fundamentals of theatre through drama games and improvisation, monologues, scene work, articulation and projection. This is an introductory class, with a showcase for parents and family members on the last day of class. Open to ages 7-11.
