Red Curtain's Springboard program challenges young actors to blossom as they learn the critical skills of teamwork, mutual respect, and self-discipline using the tools of musical theatre storytelling.
Students age 9 to 15 will audition for roles in a popular musical theatre production especially suited for young actors (all registered students will be cast). Rehearsals are held four afternoons a week for six weeks, culminating in three fully-staged public performances of their show.
The process is guided by Red Curtain's artistic director, Scott Randall, and Youth Theatre Director, Sherry Penoyer. These two professional artists are joined by a musical director, choreographer, and accompanist, and the production is supported by Red Curtain's costume, props and set departments.
Until Dec. 31, 2018, students may pre-register for the program at the 2018 tuition of $290; a $90 deposit holds their spot. Use the form below to register, or call (360) 322-7402.
